RefugeBot Player is the companion launcher for servers that opt in. It automatically finds 7 Days to Die, shows every local mod folder, filters approved mixes for your exact 2.6, 3.0, 3.0.1, 3.1.0, 3.2.0, or 3.3.0 installation, then downloads the pinned mod files directly from their providers and verifies them locally for the server you choose. 3.3 support is preliminary; the exact game version and Steam build must still match the server's verified Blueprint.

- Server owners select a boot-verified blueprint and opt their server into Player listing.
- Player downloads only the provider files pinned to that blueprint, with provider authorization when needed.
- Player shows the boot-tested game version and Steam-build match before enabling Join, then verifies every downloaded file locally.
- Activation is rollback-safe, personal mods are never overwritten, and the server's managed mods unload automatically after play.
No credentials are stored in the launcher. Its optional Nexus owner bridge keeps a personal key only in local memory. A matching-code approval sends normalized public metadata to Mod Lab; archive acquisition and inspection happen on the destination host through its own provider access. Player downloads mod files directly from their providers with the required authorization, verifies them locally, and activates managed mods. Windows can accept Nexus Download with Manager links directly; Steam cookies and provider keys never cross into RefugeBot. Normal player use reads the public, provider-ready server list and launches 7 Days to Die through Steam.
